Nimrud: Outcry as IS bulldozers attack ancient Iraq site

 

Archaeologists and officials have expressed outrage about the bulldozing of the ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud by Islamic State militants in Iraq.

Everyone loves a party

Everyone loves a party it doesn’t matter what the occasion it’s just an excuse for a good time with friends and family. Then there are the special occasions such as 18ths and 21sts mile stones in someone’s life (you’ll never be 21 again) why is it that Birthdays always seem to be the poor relation to things like Weddings? When it comes to photography we spend a fortune on weddings because we like to capture the memory’s and rightly so, but don’t things like Birthdays deserve the same? After all a Birthday is just as important a mile stone in a person’s life as the day they get married or at least it should be, don’t you think? So why is it that we are happy to spend thousands of pounds on a professional photographer to capture a wedding, yet a Birthday is always left to friends or family to photograph? It can’t be the cost, can it? After all you can get a professional photographer to cover a Birthday for a couple of hundred pounds depending on the service he or she is providing and the length of the party. Let’s stop and think about this for a moment and remember the last party we attended, all the people family and friends we see so infrequently it would have been nice to of had a professional photographer there to take photos of every one wouldn’t it? Maybe some formal shots professionals do so well? Don’t forget all the fun stuff that happens at party’s so many fantastic memories. Next time you have a party it may be a good idea to put a photographer on the guest list or at least ring a couple and get a quote, what do you think?

The skeleton of C. yangi was discovered by a team from Bohai University, China, and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, US.

Well girls it will soon be Valentine’s Day so I hope your all looking after your men I’m certain you all know that keeping them sweet is most important at this time of the year, after all with only 5 weeks to go annoy him now and you may not have time to straighten things out before the 14^th of February. It doesn’t bear thinking about no flowers, no chocolates, no card, what will all your friends say. Sorry girls just teasing I know your all on top of things and everything will be perfect on the day.

                      

So what you got for him, I know some cufflink’s or a tie, maybe some after shave. Not decided yet well what about this for an idea some photographs of you, that’s something he would keep forever to remind him of you. How about a beautiful boudoir shoot or some cheeky Pin-ups fabulous gifts. Hunger Games

I was looking forward to seeing this movie at the Odeon as I had enjoyed the first Hunger Games, got there a little late but still in time for the main film just missing the adverts for the coming films. I have to say although I enjoyed the movie it lacked something in the story and had a disappointing ending. One of those endings that have you saying “is that it then” and thinking so there’s going to be a Hunger Games 3, that’s fine but can you come back and finish this one please. So if you’re thinking of going to see Hunger Games Catching Fire you will probably enjoy it but don’t be surprised if you’re hanging for the next one
