Everyone loves a party it doesn’t matter what the occasion it’s
just an excuse for a good time with friends and family. Then there are the special
occasions such as 18ths and 21sts mile stones in someone’s life (you’ll never
be 21 again) why is it that Birthdays always seem to be the poor relation to
things like Weddings? When it comes to photography we spend a fortune on
weddings because we like to capture the memory’s and rightly so, but don’t
things like Birthdays deserve the same? After all a Birthday is just as important
a mile stone in a person’s life as the day they get married or at least it
should be, don’t you think? So why is it that we are happy to spend thousands
of pounds on a professional photographer to capture a wedding, yet a Birthday is
always left to friends or family to photograph? It can’t be the cost, can it? After
all you can get a professional photographer to cover a Birthday for a couple of
hundred pounds depending on the service he or she is providing and the length of
the party. Let’s stop and think about this for a moment and remember the last
party we attended, all the people family and friends we see so infrequently it would
have been nice to of had a professional photographer there to take photos of
every one wouldn’t it? Maybe some formal shots professionals do so well? Don’t
forget all the fun stuff that happens at party’s so many fantastic memories. Next
time you have a party it may be a good idea to put a photographer on the guest
list or at least ring a couple and get a quote, what do you think?
